Directions from the East Side:

Enter the park at 79th St. and 5th Avenue, using the north entrance (closer to the Met). Stay to the right as you walk in, walking along the benches. Up ahead you'll see an arch (called Greywacke Arch). Pass under the arch. After coming out of the arch, take the first path to the left, and continue up the hill until you see a statue of King Jagiello on a horse.

Directions from the West Side:

Enter the park at 81st Street and Central Park West, using the north entrance. As the path splits, stay to the right - follow the path all the way, until you get to the roadway/traffic light. At the roadway, cross over the striped crosswalk and continue on the uphill path. Keep walking into the park, past the bathrooms, past the Delacorte Theater. At the diamond sign for the Great Lawn (the one with a map) choose the path towards the right. Continue past the Great Lawn (and its baseball diamond) on your left. You'll see the beginning of Turtle Pond on the right - keep hugging the path on the right, all the way around the pond. Soon you'll see a huge statue (King Jagiello on a horse) that says "POLAND" on the side.
